Abundance has its own complications. Just see how Pakistan is in the midst of conocarpus and crow revolution, other than her abundant population.
If you are morning walker or idle stroller then you will have enjoyed the company of irritating and somewhat aggressive crows. Interestingly, they do not like, as it appears so to speak, humans to walk around a garden when they have had a sizable majority around or stable control upon the tree-territory in the garden or park.
They can surprise you with a drone-styled sudden head attack or can irritate you by summoning a large assembly of crows with all kinds of trumpets and crowing protocols. Sometimes this aggression becomes so intense that you feel you might have a generational feud with this lot.
Other than growing crows, Pakistan is also enjoying the abundance spectacle of conocarpus plants. Just walk around any government building, school or colleges, or highways and you will see the pavements are lined up with conocarpus. In some places these are grown into full trees and crows have settled themselves on those. Conocarpus is not a beautiful; it cannot be categorized as shady kind of tree; its wood is of no use; its leaves are not broad, and birds usually avoid to build home in this nasty tree-kind growth except the crows. It grows abundantly and disproportionately, much like desires in a frustrated soul. Its roots go deep down the earth and suck the fresh juice of earth. Its roots can even walk towards water pipes if they do not find plenty of water around.
Then why conocarpus ? Its because our public servants want to show growth. As our woman are producing abundantly and recklessly, our trees should do the same, or at least should look the same. We are in love with reckless abundance-quick but useless. Conocarpus is an extension of our abundant fertility.
You can be a miserable soul if you find yourself on track lined up by conocarpus on both sides and trees are populated by three-to-four generations of crows. Your head helmet can prove handy for you( I think designer of helmet has some sort of vision of this future situation). Your miseries can become manifold if you happen to walk through that place in the early morning.
The whole assembly of crows will welcome you with crowing trumpets; they can give you drone welcome or may fly around/above you; they will make you realize that it is Crow & Conocarpus world, and you poor human are just a passerby.
